Future Value Calculator

The future value calculator can be used to calculate the future value (FV) of an investment with given inputs of compounding periods (N), interest/yield rate (I/Y), starting amount, and periodic deposit/annuity payment per period (PMT).

Total compounding periods (e.g., months or years). Must be ≥ 0.
Present value (initial balance) at time 0. Can be 0 if you start from scratch.
Percentage rate per period (not annualized unless your period is 1 year). Example: enter 0.5 for 0.5%.
Fixed deposit made each period. Use a positive number for contributions.
Choose when each deposit occurs. “Begin” (annuity due) compounds an extra period.
Controls rounding of shown numbers. Calculations use full precision.
